Aristocrat Leisure Ltd (ASX: ALL) has announced the publication of its Sustainability Report for the 2024 financial year on the Group’s website. This report provides information on the business’ sustainability strategy and key initiatives, and describes Aristocrat’s progress across its sustainability agenda over the 12 months to 30 September 2024.
During the period, Aristocrat further matured its approach to business sustainability, undertaking its first double materiality assessment and setting a fresh medium term sustainability strategy. Aristocrat also introduced a fourth pillar to its program, focused exclusively on its most material sustainability issue, Empowering Safer Play (formerly Responsible Gameplay). Empowering Safer Play sits alongside pillars focused on Good Governance and Responsible Business, Operational Sustainability & Climate, and People & Community. For the first time, medium term goals have been articulated under each pillar, to provide more clarity around the Aristocrat’s sustainability ambitions and help focus its efforts over the coming years.
Over fiscal year 2024, Aristocrat continued to build core capability in areas including data, assurance and abatement planning, and the report reflects enhanced disclosures in respect of Aristocrat’s climate related commitments and other sustainability topics, as it works towards mandatory sustainability reporting.

Aristocrat CEO & Managing Director Trevor Croker said: “Aristocrat’s sustainability efforts aim to make us a stronger and better business, and to contribute to the long-term vibrancy of the industry in which we operate.”
“I’m pleased at the significant progress we delivered across our global enterprise this year, with many encouraging highlights across all four pillars of our strategy. At the same time, we refreshed the foundations of our approach; updating our material issues, articulating medium term goals, and further enhancing core capability as we work towards meeting our Science Based Target (SBT) commitments and support mandatory sustainability reporting in the coming years.”
“Our annual Sustainability Report plays a major role in encouraging conversations with our people, customers, investors and other stakeholders on these vital topics. We welcome the opportunity to share more about the issues that matter most to our business, along with the progress we’ve made, the path ahead and opportunities for areas of leadership and improvement” Croker concluded.
